Bio

I've loved photography ever since I was a kid. I remember carrying around my Kodak Instamatic when I was younger. I am always drawn to the arts. When I was in college, I took several art history classes although I majored in Computer Science for my undergraduate degree. I even pursued a Computer Graphics degree at one point, but I ended up dropping it to get a Master in Software Engineering instead. However, I did not get serious with photography until about 10 years ago.

I took photography classes at Cabrillo College and West Valley College to learn more about the craft. I also spent two years of Photojournalism at Cabrillo College where I worked as a photographer at the school newspaper and volunteered at local homeless shelters as well as the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge as part of school projects.

After taking a Sports Photography class at Stanford, I ended up working as a freelance sports photographer with Examiner.com covering NCAA, NHL, NFL, MLS, and other sporting events.

I do not have a specific genre of photography as I capture all kinds of different images from sports to wildlife to street photography. I do intend for my photographs to have stories whether real (photojournalism) or imagined.
